Our Annual Fall Harvest Gala is scheduled for Friday, October 28 from 5 to 8 pm at the Bluebelle Event Venue. This year, we are proud to be celebrating our 45th Anniversary! Please join us for an evening of good food, updates on the work of the organization, auctions and raffles, and more. All proceeds will benefit our mission to save, care for, and find homes for companion animals. Other event details: Dinner is catered by Knob & Kettle with tickets costing $60 each. A vegan option is available. Raffle tickets are now being sold for $10 each at Great River Rescue. Prizes include a Stand-up Paddle Board, a $750 gift certificate to Bemidji Communications, and a full-day ice house rental from Dick Beardsley Fishing Guide Service. There will be an online silent auction beginning on October 21. The auction will close during the Gala. The raffle drawing will be held at 8 pm. You do not need to be present to win. The program will feature a presentation from Anne Gass, the Rescue Relations Manager at the Animal Humane Society. She will highlight the ongoing partnership with our shelter and our work with the Minnesota Partnership for Animal Welfare.
