Spend the afternoon creating an original work of art of your favorite furry friend. Local artist Jill Neumann will guide you step-by-step in creating a custom acrylic 8 x10 painted portrait of your pet. You will need to submit a high-res jpeg photo of your pet (head shot please) as an email attachment 2 weeks prior to the workshop. If you do not have a pet to paint, you can paint one of our shelter pets - phone 218 751-7910 to arrange taking a photo. Email the headshot to artnoodle@yahoo.com by the end of Friday, February 14th. This class is for people aged 16 and up. Space is limited to 8 people, so book early. All proceeds will be donated to Great River Rescue, a 501(c)3 no-kill animal shelter in Bemidji since 1977.
